MEMORY OF LOVE

‘Memory Of Love is the story of a journey over many years in life. The character in the story is attempting to hold on to what has been his strength throughout the journey, that he suddenly feels is fading. Hope, is suddenly becoming unjustifiable at this point, yet the journey must continue ...’

Hey hey preacher man with a bible in your hand
Roaming the wilderness for a congregation
When Jesus died for your sins, well, he didn’t die for mine
The good Lord knows when an ill wind blows it’s no valentine
You’re holding out your arms
And calling yourself a man of faith
You’re a man of faith
A man of faith

All kinds of hunger they hide in the dark
Too many cages keep us enslaved
To sin with silence when we should protest
No chain is strong that holds just one rusted link
You’re holding out your arms
And calling yourself a man of faith
A man of faith
You’re a man of faith

He leads me down to the river
An orange moon hangs low and bright
And in his hands I will deliver
Under the bridge and into the night

There’s a whispered prayer
that swells to grace
A - man - kneels
A - bell - peals
And a silence falls on this place
Ooo, ooo, ooo
And to the heavens I turn my face

I can’t believe a man who never admits to sin
‘Cos we’ve all got darknesses to hide ourselves in
You’re holding out your arms but I see you as a wraith
You’re holding out your arms and calling yourself a man of faith
A man of faith, a man of faith

PAT PANDO

What can I say… simply my fav bass player of all time (well just after my wife ☺).   Simply Blessed to have him on this track, such a ‘Simon’ bass line too!  While he’s not much for social media presence, you can follow THE CURE here.  There is also a cool fan run page here.

Big thank you to Simon’s son, Eden for tracking his dad in his studio.  Please check out Eden’s band Violet Vendetta.

Finally there are some alcohol-fueled ‘rumors’ that this collaboration may have rekindled a side project between Simon and Mr. Hussey.  You all can thank me later ☺

Wayne Hussey Short bio could go here. Links to artist website, info , projects, artist on shecter site , etc.

WAYNE HUSSEY

A dream collaboration for me.  Wayne has always been one of my favorite singers, lyricists and guitarists!  ‘God’s Own Medicine’, ‘Children’ and ‘Carved In Sand’ are desert island listens for me.

Getting Wayne and Simon on a song together for the first time is certainly surreal.

For more info on THE MISSION, visit here . This goth icon and Mish Main-Man is also known to frequent this page ☺

Michael Ciravolo Short bio could go here. Links to artist website, info , projects, etc.

MICHAEL CIRAVOLO

Words can't describe how grateful I am for Wayne and Simon for being part of BEAUTY IN CHAOS.

Being an artist and guitarist who is a fan of both THE CURE and THE MISSION, having these two gentlemen not only take the time to do this but also love what we created here is pretty special.
