MONDAY MC Q&A 10/4/21

Q: I love BIC ‘look’ in your videos and it’s evolving all the time. The costumes in “Orion” might be the most epic yet! Who comes up with the costume ideas, and do your get to keep them after the video shoots? I’d definitely want to keep the wings and armour !!! :)

A: Costumes??? I’m wearing the armor right now!! Seriously, we certainly do try to make each video as different from its predecessor as possible, and “Orion” does just that, It was probably our biggest video undertaking to date, and the first to utilize ‘green screens’. As for the costumes … some videos is just stage garb,,, but several called for a distinct look. I have my hands in most of that…. and as unexciting as it sounds, we usually hit Amazon for things. We can grab a few ideas and return what does not work! For our ‘20th Century Boy” shoot … Tish and I took Wayne to a few local thrift stores to search out the needed ‘glam regalia’. I wish I had that on video !! For “Orion”, Whitney had the idea of sort of ‘cosmic super-heroes’ and she, Tish and I got various pieces from Amazon as well as some local costume shops. As for keeping them? Yes, our closet is full of these … along with a few ‘disassembled’ guitars :) I think you’ll find the looks in our next video pretty epic too!
